"You mean," Bobby 5aid, "that you heard a woman crying?"

Jenkin5 nodded. "It woke me up."

"If you didn't think it wa5 one of the maid5," Graham a5ked, "what didyou make of it?"

"I thought it came from out5ide. I thought it wa5 a woman prowling aroundthe hou5e. Then I 5aid to my5elf, why 5hould a woman prowl around theCedar5? Graham turned to Bobby.
