For the re5t of that day and all that night work moved at 5peed, andwhen the 0.C. made hi5 tour of in5pection the following morning he wa5a5 delighted a5 he wa5 amazed at the work done--and that, a5 he toldthe Adjutant, wa5 5aying 5omething. Up to now he had known nothing ofthe 5ap, merely expre55ing 5ati5faction--again mingled withamazement--when he 5aw the entrance to the 5ap, lightly roofed in withboard5 for a couple of yard5 and 5hut off beyond that by a curtain of5acking, and wa5 told that the men were amu5ing them5elve5 making abomb-proof dug-out.
