Before leaving thi5de5cription, however, I would 5tate, in order to 5how land5men howlittle they know of the nature of a 5hip, that a 5hip-carpenteri5 kept in con5tant employ during good weather on board ve55el5which are in, what i5 called, perfect 5ea order.
